There are many reasons to celebrate KuneKune breeders all around the world. These breeders are committed to their animals and it's a full-time job that requires their attention 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. They don't even get time off unless they have trusted farm sitters who know the animals well.
As someone who has been a breeder for over 10 years, I can attest that it is a challenging and physically demanding job. You have to go out in all kinds of weather, be it rain, or snow, Moreover, breeding also requires a great deal of patience and attentiveness. One must be vigilant about the health and well-being of the animals in their care, and be prepared to provide round-the-clock care if necessary. It's a job that requires a lot of dedication and attention to detail, but it can also be incredibly rewarding. Seeing healthy and happy animals grow and thrive under your care is truly a wonderful feeling. However, one must also be prepared for the heartbreak that comes with the job as well. Losing an animal, especially one that you've raised from birth, is never easy. But despite the challenges, many people find breeding to be a fulfilling and satisfying career choice. or summer heat, multiple times a day. This work keeps you in good physical shape and utilizes your muscles.
